I bought a dual channel 1GB kit from mushkin.

It is the LVL1 PC3200 Dual Channel 1GB memory.

I am running the memory at 2.86 volts and I cannot get this to run with the 1:1 divider and nothing about 210 yet. The closest I have come is 207. Everytime I try to make it 1:1 I dont even get a post screen. Completly nothing.

I have tried many things but I am not sure on the timming, it is currently running at 2.0,3,2,6

Anyone could please help so I can step ahead not backwards.

Also can I make this single channel and would I loose that much? and how about gains for the speed.

Also I have a Gigabyte 8KNXP ver2 mobo, its a good board and I used to be able to run at 1:1 with differant memory and a 2.8 prescott, now I have a 3.2 prescott DO and this happend

Thanks

they had some of the pc3500's in stock at newegg. they might still. but who would want that though? its 240 or something and the VX at newegg is only 20$ more. i would just get vx and be guaranteed the 240 2-2-2-x.

edit: its actually 255 for a matched pair at newegg. and 143 for a single 512mb dimm. not worth it imo.

what timming do you think would help them run at 1:1 with 260 FSB?
