hi Guys,

I have these set of speakers that came with my pc as a package, 2xspeakers and I woofer. Now I need something a bit better (for music and movies). I am using a Gigabyte Ga-7va and a Xp1800+ (Yes I know the system is very outdated.). I am using the onboard sound.
Now I have two questions:

(1)What are you opinions on a set off speakers like these ones (I know they aren't cream of the crop, I am just after some sound that is slightly above decent.):

I am new to the audio seen, so I can't explain much so I have some screen shots. Can the onboard sound card run these speakers?

Quick lesson on speakers:

-xxx watts RMS is a good rating.
-xxx watts without stating RMS is probably a dynamic power rating, 1/2 or 1/3 it to get a power rating closer to RMS
-xxx watts PMPO is usually about 100 to 1000 times the actual RMS rating.. anything that uses PMPO for rating is trash.

The first you linked is probably the better of the two, but neither of them are very good.
