Exactly...I need this chip to put out for me until I get those 3dscores, then I'll take the vcore to the moon with pifast.
I ran 2v on another fx 2 weeks ago in the same cascade, and the chip couldnt take it and lost it's overclock....RIP...still ran and overclocked a little, but not sky high.
This one seems to love the voltage and eat it up :)

difference I noticed between DI and cascade @-90 is the cpu can take more volts and still be stable, where as with DI I hit a wall at a certain point and more volts didnt help any. Your chip still needs to be able to run at the speeds you want. I have tested a few now and some wouldnt run this fast no matter what temps or volts.

If you are skilled with DI and have the right containers, the same or near similar overclocks can be had that are on sub -90c loaded temps cascades.

yep...dead..both mobo and cpu :mad:. I'm a little aprehensive to use my turbo510 with the 5v cranked up now.. Booster,psu, and ram are fine.
I didnt think much of that 5v jumping and spiking before when my 5v was @ 5v, but now the more that I think about it makes sense. I had 5vrail over 5.4v for vid card testing the night before I fried my hardware. Hooked everything up in morning on cascade and first boot pffftt....booster flashed 6v for a milisecond on boot heard a zzztttt then power gone :(
booster was 3.1v or so last time I ran it or so I thought it was.
I should have turned that fu***r down. Totally forgot about having to recalibrate it with a higher 5v..maybe I ended up booting with massive volts on vdimm due to my psu's 5v jumping....wont know for 100% what is was that did it I guess.
Booster has worked fine for along time now. I have never had a problem before with it or my psu..I have loved this turbo510 since day1.

Got that Plain Jane Gigabyte 939 here also I want to test out as from other boards the Gigabyte hit 3-5mhz higher on the ram as did the Neo2 at same timings/voltage :)
