Has anyone seen anything or had any experience with this RAM? Im plannin on upgradin my rig and im tryin to find out what parts I should put in there that will be decent for upcoming games and applications. Right now I just play stuff like UT2004 and CS and CS:Source. Im currently runnin an old xp2400 @ 215fsb with swiftech water cooling system(which sux for temps) and an NF7-S Rev 2.0 Volt modded board and some Corsair XMS3200 Memory. Im thinkin about goin with somethin like.....a 3500+ winchester(I've heard good things about em) and not sure what board yet, which is kind of why im postin this in here too. Dont know what board and RAM to get, but I tend to look at Hardocp.com every now and then to see what reviews they've done, and I seen that ram and was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with em.

PDP PC3200 XBL TCCD, relatively cheap and heard great things about them.

The XPERT isnt out yet, Hardocp had a preview..

Another vote for the PDP PC3200 w/XBL (TCCD)

I saw it at the DFI party, trust me this stuff is really gay. Stay far far away from it.

Speaking about the dfi party, they had a nforce 3 socket 939 mobo on display there, wonder why it isn't being sold.

Xpert memory is only Corsair 3200XL atm which sucks, not to mention can you imagine the airflow in that thing lol?

NE updates on these DIMMs, are the ICs their using any better or does anyone have first hand experience? I just like the fact that they show temp...one less thermal probe wire hangin in the case.

And please do not comment on the Xpert untill you test them... They are probably better then you think... (I know what I talk about by saying that....)

the xpert is out over here at least (UK) any TCCD based memory on brainpower PCB is the way to go, most perform similar but if you want the best and can pay the premium i'd go Gskill LA

=']Just to let everyone know its actually XMS. XMS is actually only a marketing name (Xtreme Memory Speed) for their high performance memory (which is about normal performance for us overclockers;)).

It does look cool. I would like to see that LED display on their 4400C25. I doubt it will fit in my MSI NEO2 in a dual channel config. But if they make a 4400 version and I upgrade my MB to a DFI NF4, I would consider it.

It will fit in the memory slot with the leds... but if your heatsink is too big, it may interfer...

Hey guys anybody know the difference between these two.

The one seems to be rated at 2-3-3-6 (Model TWINXP1024-3200C2) and the other one at 2-2-2-5 (Model TWINXP1024-3200XL).

I was just wondering are they both based on Samsung TCCD or are they different.

XL is TCCD.

C2 is not as far as I know, however I have no clue what chips are on it...

Anybody know what chips the C2 ones have on them.

As for the XL what pcb does it have.

I'd think it's a custom PCB, but for overclocking it's not so stellar of an overclocker (what with the LCD display and all) i found a roof at 3-3-3-9, 255MHz.

Hey Tulatin with which one was this XL or the C2 ones.

I see most reviews hit the roof at 275Mhz with the XL ones.

it was the XL stuff really - i might have had a little much voltage (was lining 3), so perhaps a decrease of .1-.3V should help (i had diminishing returns after 2.8) - that, and with the displays on top this stuff is near impossible to cool
