So I decided I wanted to be l337 and go watercooled. I'm using a dangerden.com maze3 kit. I also added in a GPU and north bridge block. This is my first attempt at it and it is proving to be much fun. Everyone in my Battalion thinks I have lost my mind :D
Anyway...on to the pics...

Here is my boss making my Black Ice Extreme radiator+PVC shroud+Sunon 120mm fan combo all work right. Remember kids....we're trained prfessionals. Most normal people won't want to use their hand as the backstop for the drill :D

Here's the back of the case w/ the BIX combo mounted in it. The bracket was made from the extra hard drive cage that came w/ the case (Lian-Li PC75).

This is the side of the case showing how much the BIX combo protrudes from the PSU enclosure. Also note the hard drive cage that is now a flat panel (that is where I'm mounting the Ehiem 1250 pump) and the screws in the side of the enclosure that hold the bracket in place. .

Leak testing has commenced!

Here's a closer shot of the BIX combo. I found a 4" diameter piece of PVC at Home Depot. It has some weather stripping on the side that is against the BIX to help snug it up and for vibration dampining. We had to enlarge the holes on the fan and the BIX to accomadate the bolts, as we couldn't find anything that was even close to long enough in that small of a diameter. Yeah...the washers are ghetto...but they work ;)

This is a butter tray I turned into a reservoir. I just epoxied the bottom to the top and turned it up side down and put some fittings in it. More of a continuence of the "ghetto but functional is better" theme :D

I think my nerd quotient just went way up :D

A butter tray! That kicks ass. My reservoir is a small tupperware container with two holes drilled in the lid. :p

Heh..yeah. When I saw that it had those faceted sides I was thinking that it would look cool when the light goes through it.

I haven't installed em yet. I have to go to the field next week for 2 weeks (2 weeks living outside in Alaska in the winter..I love the army) and I'm planning on doing it when I get back. Still trying to decide on a new mobo. I'm leaning towards the Asus nforce2 board.
