hi,
FIRST POST! :D

I would like to know (if you peeps still have any EB :p: ) how far you can get it and at what timings MemTest #5 Stable?

I am asking as im finally getting a 3400NC and want to be able to run 10x260 1:1 - I know my EB can do 260 3-3-2-8 on this 3200CH but with any luck on a better mem controller maybe 265 is possible :toast:

Cheers for any feedback

My 3500EB does 3-2-2-5 up to 270. I have seen some reach above 290.

Around 270MHz 3-2-2-7 is the average.. But some Goes WAY higher...

I think thats for single stick. DUal stick is most likely very poor as the newer AMD chips or mobos dont like micron chips, so I've heard/read

im on S754 so its ok - new 939 boards hate EB! :D
but S754 seems kewl with it - speciallly as i have a dfi ut nf3 :D

EB doesn't work well on most MSI K8N Neo2 mobos, so bear that in mind if you are planning on going 939 at any point.

if i were u, i would sell them before it depreciates even more. Its very hard to sell EBs now a days.

The only reason it's hard to sell is that EB is better than people give it credit for. People freak out and sell their old "bad" RAM whenever a new type of RAM comes out.

w/ 3400 CH + K8N Pro (3.3V 'kyosen Vdimm mod'):
512MB EB3700
SuperPi 1M@ 295 (http://www.akiba-pc.com/e107_images/articles/ocz3700eb/ocz_3700_295_spi1m.gif)MHz 3-2-2-8, 3.3V Vdimm, fan on top of ram.

Didn't run 3Dmark at that speed. Never tried memtest w/ this either.

i had 2x 512MB OCZ PC3700EB DC Kit, one stick did 255mhz one did 250mhz

had 2x 512MB OCZ PC3700EB singles, one did 255-265mhz and one did 280-285mhz

mine does 295 3/3/2/10 on Giga NF3 754 with 3.4v but can pass 240 on Neo2

My 1gig EB PC3700 does (at 2.9vdimm) 240MHz @ 3-2-2-11 1T... my ram suck as I see....

Maybe not, your running a lower voltage than those people. So thats not too bad for those volts

I was just playing around today and I almost got a screenshot with my PC3500 EB at 250MHz 3-2-2-6 in my NF7-S today. This mobo is holding me back... Maybe I need to upgrade sometime. :)

3700EB 2x256mb does 258mhz on A8V in DC.

I have a Booster on the way for some 3v+ action.

i tested 1 stick of 512mb last nite and it did 265 stable for hours at 3.3vdiumm at 3-3-2-8 timings and then i booted an benched (Everest) at 285 :D

but whole 2 sticks together on this cpu only do 258 :(

Has anyone ever pushed EB to or over 300MHz with 3-2-2-x timings?

I have hit 290 3-2-2- on a modded epox 9nda3+ with 3.4Vdimm using 2x512. I have a feeling I may see 300 with the new generation of NF4 and ATI chipset boards im now testing.

Remember a lot has to do with cpu memory contrllors also ;)

Bigtoe,
I'm working on A64 tweaker and 3700EB if you know some good settings could you pm me?

I should have some results with a Gigabyte K8NF-9 NF4 board in the near future, hopefully my booster works in it. :D

With how many voltages on your memory?

Thanks,

What I have is not OCZ EB but my Buffalo 3700 uses Micron -5C. I can do 267 3,3,2,5, T1 with 3.3 volts but I leave it at 250 2.5,2,2,5, T1. Its a single 512 stick and the mobo is the bottle neck with a max HTT of 267. I beleave it will do more with a mobo with higher HTT at 3.3 volts.

2x512 3500EB 280mhz 3-2-2-10 @ 3.4v on an50r and dfi nf3.
i think my C0 is limiting me.

i adjusted my Powerstreams 3.3v rails to around 3.6 and am using the vdimm bios for my DFI UT so i was around 3.38 as Klisp said not to go to 3.4 if not using a fan (which im not) - when i use a fan tho im going for 3.4 and 265mhz :D

I was trying out some stuff with ClockGen today (school is cancelled because of freezing rain), and I got a screenshot of my PC3500 EB doing 250MHz 3-3-2-8 @ 3.3V. I still think my mobo is holding me back, but it's not bad for nForce2.

My EB seems to love the tightest settings I throw at it as long as i use cas3. At 290 i was running 3-2-2-0 with TRC at 7 and TRFC at 14 with bypass max at 7 for some huge bandwidth ;)

Korpse

coudl you post or pm me how to optimise my memory settings for when i get my 3400NC?

as i really have no clue

cheers

I did a little more messing around with different BIOSes and raising chipset voltage to 2.0v and finally got 254MHz, 3-2-3-8 with 3.3V.

None of this is stable because of this motherboard, though. :( I shudder to think what this stuff could do on an Athlon 64 system.

hi, thats my fist post here at xs.org :)
i'm getting some 3200EB on Saturday, and i hope i can post some huge results. I already had some 3200Eb earlier, and they reached 244/2.5-2-2-5/2.9V -- limited by my mobo :(
This ones now, made 265 by my friend, but dont know what timings. I'll test and post.

btw: great Forum here, hope you understand my English.

but cant you get some 3700EB or VX for that same money?
that is if your paying full rate :D

these babies are fully stable at 250@2.5-2-2-6 :D :D :D

hey bigtoe can you post a screenie of you A64 tweaker at that mem speed?
just curious cause i can get 280 3-2-2-10 stable but any looser timing it craps out.
i just want to see you other timings at 290mhz plus is it 2x512mb or 2x256mb?

Well with he booster and only 1stick of EB it does around 270mhz with 3.3vdimm.

This was on a 10x multi 3200+ winnie, i'll lower multi and go at it again.

BTW, booster works on K8NF-9, i tried 3.9vimm but dunno if thats what I was actually getting or not.

btw: i got them yesterday, and one stick doesn't work :( , fu** i hope i'll get another GB-Kit of them from RMA.
didn't test the other one yesterday, because i've been terrible angry.
