I just went to format my drives and install winXP onto my scsi drive today and i ran into a problem..
i'll start with my setup
400w psu
dfi infinity nf2 running 2004/01/21 beta bios
2x256mb bh-5
xp-m 2500+
now everything was running fine @ 220x11.5 before this, and after i changed some bios options (boot from scsi), i ran into this problem.
the video bios comes up, and just stays there after i try to SAVE the bios.
i can fix this by unplugging the PSU and flashing the bios, but as soon as i try to re-set the bios settings to even stock, or to save & exit, it restarts and hangs @ the video bios.
now a few things im thinking are this:
-dead bios (i hope not!)
-dead cmos battery...???
-dead board ! =(
any suggestions would help guys ive got to get this beast back up to uni tomorrow.
