alrighty people, this is my first post here, im usually a Futuremark lurker, but i thought id give this a shot here, as sometimes the responses i get over there are a little less than serious, kinda like the people are on this : :banana4:

SO, what ram would you recommend for this price, or under, i dont care, that will HOPEFULLY do 2.5-2-2-x @ 240, with the possiblity for 270 1:1?

now HERE is the clincher, it has to be done on an epox 9nda3, which gives max vdimm of 2.8 volts, and even that is flaky. 2.7 is rock solid, but 2.8 fluctuates a little bit. no i dont want vmod, and no ocz booster causes board to go BOOM.

(hope this wasn't too noobish of a first post for you people :) )

For low volts I believe gskill is the best.

haha I like that confused look on that post. I started to think about it and g.skill rates their timings at at pc3200 and also pc4400 or pc4800 speeds, while pdp rates it for pc3200 only. I hear good things from both but more from gskill and OPB and Windwithme tests on them. I say gskills all the way for tccd!!! :D

currently @ 250 1:1 2.5-3-3-7, but i need higher CFM fan, i have the silent boost k8, which is great, minus the 25 cfm fan. im going to get a 80-120 mm adapter, then hello 4x the cfm. ANYWAYS, i have booted into windows 270 2.5-3-3-7, but it wasn't stable, i still have to mess with some voltages and such. but for now, im pretty happy with this stuff.

220$ :D
So far occt and prime stable @ 260x10/2.6V DC overnight for burnin.
Quick and dirty memtesting got me up to 295 (2.5-3-3-7) SC :slobber: for each stick. Working my way up over the weekend. Got a good matched pair for once. :D
Got it since the last batch was ok up to 270 x 10 and they use newer Bpower 0815 pcbs. Spd Trc is 11, same as Gskill LE. Trc(PQI) is 12 just for reference
