I have some a-data pc4600

And the topic "Ram with Samsung TCCD - Listing" says its samsung tccd's

But i cant boot @ 200mhz 2 2 2 5
I can boot @ 200 2.5 3 3 5
And i run @ 250 3 3 3 6 (cpu limited)

Specs in sign.

Is this ram TCCD or something else ?
cause TCCD's run @ 200 2 2 2 5 ?

note: i'm not gonna remove the heatspreaders cause i dont wanna damage the chips or lose my warranty

its not TCCD. early adata was something else afaik.

I think its hynix. the 4800 is tccd.

The new TCCD don't like 2-2-2-5 ...

ADATA PC4500 can :

245-255 MHz 2-3-3-5 @ 2.8V
270-280 MHz 2.5-3-3-5 @ 2.8V
300-310 MHz 2.5-4-3-5 @ 2.8V

Yes i know i bought them whit the PC4500 rating but Cpu-z shows PC4600 ;)

So it is normal i cant do 2225 @ 200mhz (they would never run that speed always above 250 but still i want to know if it are TCCD's)

Yes ... is normal, is new TCCD, low Vdimm but not love 2-2-2-5 ...

Try 2-2-2-5@3V if it doesnt work it's not TCCD.

I can't this mobo only has 2.85v as max vdimm
So i cant test it.

(i chose this memory so i wouldnt need +2.9v)

Tccd doesn't have to be DDR400 2-2-2-5;)

Everybody seems to forget that TCCD is a DDR500 part, not DDR400.

The TCCD stuff that runs high fsb will not run 2-2-2-x as well, if at all.

My pc3200 platinum rev.2 does up to 211 2-2-2-x and up to 320 2,5-3-3-x
I think only the very best TCCD will do 2-2-2-x and high FSB with slack timings.
