From what ive heard the corsair are not as good as OCZ and others.

I think the TCCD will be a better bet than the VX.

TCCD will clock higher at OK timings, plus your not having to use silly voltages.

g.skill pc4800LA is what I'd get

i think your two statemants are the opposite of each other.

first you say that the corsair is not as good as the ovz but

secondly tccd will be better then vx

but the corsair is tccd, what now?

okk the ramm is very impreshive , but somebody kow if corsair will build the led ramms with the same tccd 440 chips, or not?

They will probably have the 440 chips after a while, but i dont think they test as rigorously as g.skill. Just forget about the LEDs. If you want the best of the best go with g.skill. otherwise wait for corsair so have something that will perform almost as good but will have lights. This is xtremesystems not xtremepimpin ;)
if you really want g.skill and also some leds buy some 3v smd leds and solder them to the smd capacitors on the ram :D

Another vote for the gskill though.

corsair and OCZ both have TCCD, in OCZ case, its called "OCZ platinum pc3200 rev2" and it overclocks better then corsair, because OCZ use PCB with "brain power" technology, which helps overclock the ram sticks even further

they all have brainpower PCB now. cept it depends on how sticktly they bin the chips.

no voting is needed just test the ram vs each other.

set CPU at 2340 mhz as an EXAMPLE

VX = 2-2-2-? 260*9 = 2340
Gskill = 2.5-3-3-? or 2.5-4-4-? (depending if its stable or not) 292*8 & 334*7

This would give an idea of the VX and how far the Gskill has to be clocked to compensate for the lack of good timings.

I suggest PiFast and another program to show how fast the system is improved or not.

Gskill Pc4800 La @ddr660 1t 1024kit

or
OCZ PC3200 EL Gold VX Dual channel 1024MB kit

on both i would built a waterrammcooling like these herehttp://www.kaltmacher.de/viewtopic.php?t=32848&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

well if youre gonna be doin that, there wont be space for a booster just in case the promised 4v vdimm on the dfi doesnt come through for the vx to shine...

i would go with Gskill 4400le, a little cheaper than 4800le. but still tccd.

i read that people are having alot of artifacting problems with Corsair XMS LED ram in aquamark3 benchmark only. so, if you bench aq3 alot , you should be cautious of corsairs. it's fast, but the chips are flaky, and are very hard to find good quality corsair ram.

My vote's for the OCZ VX...its nice RAM plus it does 250mhz on average it seems which is pretty good with 2-2-2 timings. You've got up to 4v on that board, it just seems like a waste not use it :D.

Nothing wrong with cosair 3200XLPT

http://www.ricco.karoo.net/images/2700_1.gif

But from what I have seen of Gskill's chip selection, if you have the choice go with them, the rest of all TCCD/BP combo's been equal.
