Hi...

I have the following hardware:

Abit AV8 bios 17
Winchester 3200+ 90nm week 31
OCZ EL PC3200 rev.2 (with TCCD)

My problem is stability, I have tried different GFX to see if the impacted my stability, did not. Rightnow I seems that I have some sort of stabilty when running DDR333 and 3-4-4-15 2T :( but the most sad thing is that I know that the CPU's memorycontroller can handle 240Mhz 2,5-3-3-8 1T and the ram 275Mhz 2,5-3-3-8 1T (tested on an Asus A8V+Newcastle for ram)

As most people know the ram is rated to 2-2-2-5 1T @ 200Mhz and 2,5-3-3-8 1T @ 250Mhz and I know that to mobo is the only thing thats changed. It is so annoying to have some hardware that cannot run even at stock speed

Do you know something that I dont or does it look like and RMA?

I thing that's the main problem of VIA based Abits, but I've no idea why only Abit mobos have such trouble with it...
Other manufacturers mobos don't have issues like that, but what's the strangest hing about that not every AV8 is "bad". Some work proper.
My KV8Pro is not stable over 225MHz for memory- latencies do not matter. But the problem is only with MEMORY. CPU works stable even over 275MHz HT (mem 333).
It failed over 225MHz 1:1, and cause HDD malfunction (thus PCI clock was fixed). HDD came back after re-plug SATA connector. Strange thing isn't it ??
Could somebody tell me why ?? And is it also with NF3 based mobo ?? If not i'll switch my KV8 on NF8 as soon as possible (I couldn't have said goodbye to 3rdEye :D )
some official statement of abit about that ??
BTW: some news about Abit NF4 ULTRA or SLI board with 2x PCIEx16 ??
