Weird as it sounds, i cant install anything MS. i get the following error:

http://img117.exs.cx/img117/6836/error0hh.jpg

I have tried Office (including individal installations), autoroute and visio so far, and i get the same error. the error appears on autorun and when i try and install from path!

any ideas?

the cds work fine on other computers, and i have tried both DVD and CD-RW drives.

Reinstall Windows. Probably mucked up Windows Installer DLL's.

make a norton ghost image of your current drive, then re-install windows. if it doesnt help, at least you can go back.

btw why would you need microsoft products? just use openoffice and some freeware email program, many good ones out there.
