Hello guys, i must buy new RAM :). I was thinking about TCCD ( don't know if my CPU steppin support more than 3v in the memory controller :(, CPU-Z ---> Stepping 0, Revision DH7-CG ).
Which one gains more perform?
Vitesta 600, OCZ 3200EL Rev2 or Geil UltraX 3200?
Thks all ;).

Regards :toast: .

p.s. G-Skill are not here yet :(

I would get OCZ PC3200 Rev.2 and not worry about getting over 3V, AFAIK TCCD doesn't like a lot of volts, IIRC it performs best in the 2.6-2.9V range. :toast:

You can run just as high as you like, that is the latest revision Newcastle. I'd say you have best luck with the OCZ but I might be wrong, the Geil and A-data Vitesta i've seen reviewed were not that mad OC'ers but I guess you can't go wrong with either. If you can wait I think the Gskill is worth it, many people around here seem to be hitting nice frequencies with them . Btw why the Geforce4?

Tnx all for replies :D.

why the Geforce4?
Sfortunatly when i was building my conf i have got some problem ( crash car :( ) so i was not able to buy all parts :(... Now i'm going ahead with ram. After tat i will see if i buy nF4 & 2x6600GT or stay with nF3 & buy 1x6800GT ;).

Regards :toast:.

P.S. anyone know if my stepping can go over 3V? :D

P.P.S. Here in Europe u can find only this G-Skill 3200 (http://www.memoryshop.it/products.php?cat=1&sub=2&dettagli=27), which can't do great OC ( true? ).

Those are the good GSkill. Look kinda pricy though.

yeah you should be able to give more than 3v...thats a CG stepping and the C0s had the issue with voltage

The Gskill you posted is ok but the Gskill chosenone posted is the one you should get, i'd say its better than the adata and ocz.

That is the same as what I am running...the LC's...and yes the LE's run tighter timings...both OC to about the same at the same timings in the final end though...

This is the LC kit running at 10x275FSB/HTT 8-4-4-2.5/1T@default voltage...

The GSKill PC4800"LA" are probably the best around, and ship for around €289

Is it very common for OCZ 3200 sticks to do more than 250mhz? Why isn't he buying PC3500 or even PC4000 ram?

I'm planning on building an A64 3000+ 939 box soon, but I realise the CPU multiplier won't rise, so the o/c really depends on ram. So I've been researching all this expensive ram like PC4000. Can you really get away with PC3200?
