View Full Version : DFI via K8T800Pro and Hynix-D43

Hello guys
my first post and i didnt know where i must write my problems and i wrote that here.

problem 1) mu DFI k8t800pro-alf is revision A . and in BIOS i can set CPU MAX CLOCK 200-255 which is :banana::banana::banana::banana: because i want use 8x300=2,4ghz
but i cant set over 255. so someone can give me some BIOS where i can set over 255.

2) can i use Revision B bios on my revision A motherboard? ( i mean when i put revison B bios then my motherboard will not DIE)

3) and my 2x256 pc3200 Hynix -D43 memeory wont work togehter ( just getting stuck before loading win)

so may someone help me whith those problems. sry my bad english :(

I would not recommend using the Revision B BIOS on your motherboard. It will most likely not boot and basically kill your motherboard.

Check there to see if there is a version of Clockgen (Windows-based overclocking util) that supports your chipset. If so, you can follow their directions to set speed at boot.

but i know someone who usining same mobo and used revision B bios and worked well :rolleyes:

but someone dont use same card? i want know which BIOS is better than stock :confused:

Somehow I don't think K8T800 PRO chipset is capable of 300 HTT speeds.

8x300 can only managed whith s939? or some better mobo`?
