One of the best sites I know of for professionally designed graphic wallpapers that size, along with dual screen wallpapers, etc., is here (http://www.plasmadesign.co.uk/)
It's a pay site (miniscule amount for lifetime subscription), and he does wallpapers for 30 inch monitors (2560x1600 pixels), Apple Powerbooks, HD Cinema, you name it.
I've been a member for quite a while now and definitely have gotten my 5 bucks for subscription worth from it. I'm not a MAC or Apple user.
