WinXP and CPU's running faster than 4.3GIG

is there a way to get windows to properly recognize a CPU running faster than 4.3 GIG? For the first time I'm able to run a CPU that fast, and windows wont see it that way. Just resets to 0MHz and starts over. It doesnt seem to bother most programs, but things like sisoft sandra, and prime 95 are effected by it. And other proggies for sure. Just wondering if there is a workaround for this.

I think it might be a mobo problem. What Mobo are you using

doubt it's mobo related as CPU-z reports correctly. just not OS. I have seen others mention such an issue, just noone seems to show a workaround for it :(
BTW its a P4C800E-d


*EDIT* seems upgrading to SP2 Fixed it for me now windows sees the OC properly
