Will it fit?

I have the waterchill Antarctica CPU block on my NF7-S V2.0 and i had to mod it slightly to get it to fit round the capasitors near the CPU socket.

i have just noticed the infinity doesnt have mounting holes around the CPU, so what other motherboard for the same price could i buy? and remember im an overclocker. should i buy another NF7-S V2.0?

It looks like none of the DFI nf2 boards have the mounting holes around the CPU. That sucks. I'd go with the AN7.

The ASUS is ok, not a fantastic OCer by any means. If you are having issues with your NF7-S, I'd RMA it first before buying a brand new board.

do not get that asus. The E model is a POS. it sucks for overclocking and isnt as stable as the origional. Ppl have nothing but problems with that board.

Since you already have hte nf7 i cant reccomend that (was my fav nf2 board i ever used), so i will have to reccomend the an7. Apparently its the better overclocker with more options.. odd that none of the dfis have mounting holes.

i live in the UK and i dont think it will go with the rest of my kit...

If you want to use your block with a board without the mounting holes I do believe this is the only option.

As Max said I believe that the AN7 would probably be the best board to get tho. It may not reach the FSB speeds of the DFI but at the same CPU speed and slightly lower fsb (drop a multi of .5) its actual performance is still better. Just like two of my boards my IC7 Max3 is faster clock for clock than my P4C800. But the Abit is a better OCr too tho The Asus craps out around 295 and the Abit will go 305 (not sure its my CPU there even)

wheres the best price on the AN7 then? limit is £50 (can push £60 with begging)

No idea on stuff across the pond. And I doubt it will make your budget.
