I'll keep it short, we all know the boundless issues the AN7 has, a vast majority of which are BIOS related and Abit seemingly are trying to sweep it under the carpet as it were. I have emailed Abit various times in the past concerning these issues, to which I have had no reply back, these were not general emails either but in an official capacity as a maxitmag reviewer.
Abit themselves advertise the AN7 as an OCing solution and brand the board as such, yet the board is clearly not up to scratch because of the buggy BIOS, these bugs are both widely known and a vast majority easy to fix, so the question remains, why don't they fix them? If nothing else thes bugs should be fixed to increase reliability.
Now I have not checked every single issue out with the AN7 but a vast majority of AN7 owners have issues with the board, one example, lets take the ALT + F2 option at the bottom of the BIOS screen, it would seem that although this option causes the entire system to lock, sometimes during mid flash without any OCing, thus the user has to RMA (something im sure they wernt happy about) despite this widely known issue it would seem Abit deem it not important enough to fix. Now I don't know about you but this to me is a pretty damn major issue if it kills your AN7 when its something that Abit no doubt could easily fix and vastly reduce both downtime and RMA lines for the AN7.
So if you'd like Abit to do something about these things the AN7 BIOS is missing and should have due to them advertising it as an OCing board, and for them do address these silly inexcusable bugs then say so here, i'm posting this on more than one forum to get a collective and then forwarding Abit a copy with yet another email asking about these issues, to further see details on these issues simply search abits own forums or see HERE (http://www.maxitmag.co.uk/wbb2/thread.php?threadid=1178&page=2&sid=) for a detailed list of some of the problems a forum member has bought up, once i've posted in all the forums I intend to i'll post up links so anybody who isnt a member of this forum but prehaps one of the others may post their digital signing there.
