The only E0 available right now is the 570. All the others are nowhere to be found or out of stock at the few obscure stores where you can find them listed.

Someone said that a while ago ;) , and its pretty much right about all the 5x0s, but I dont they checked this out before they said it:

And lets not forget, those are GUARANTEED E0s - GUARANTEED to go 4.2 Ghz on Air etc. :D

Enjoy !!

lol good post Perkam!

I just wish they sold Mobile 3.33 Ghz 538s to the public...those are guaranteed mobile E0s and go 4.2 as well on air :D

Oh and yeah, I just thought I'd de-mystify the E0 rarity issue. Its here and you can be on it tomorrow :p:

Just remember though, we ALL cant be The Stilt :D So dont go thinking...5Ghz HERE I COME LOL

But you WILL get pretty close, Here's what a D0 can do on air, just imagine what an E0 CAN DO !!!

Wow nice find. The 560J price is still a little steep for me, I'm waiting for the 550J, it should be under $300.

No, the 'J' just indicates an E0 stepping.

However, there are VERY rare 550J 3.4F with F implying E64MT available in the UK only. They're a bit more expensive than the 550Js so its worth it if you live in the UK.

Are these 3,6GHz 04B (performance) so it's possible to decrease the multiplier to 14x on certain motherboards?. 4,2GHz on air and 14x multiplier would enable the magic 300MHz FSB :)

Yes the 3.6J still has the 04B platform compatibility guide rating. You can drop the multiplier down to 14. The 3.5J is 04A, so you can't drop the multiplier.

 at 4.2 on air
if they can do that, though, why dont they at least sell a 4.0? too much heat or something?
yep too much heat plus their might be a wattage issue. Sure the nice boards can do that 4.2ghz, but the cheaper boards may not be able to supply the right wattage.

I want the chip, not having to put down $1500 on a brand new notebook !!!

I would LOVE the Mobile 548 !!!! THe only other alternative right now to a good OCing Mobile Intel is the Dothan which requires an expensive ($300) Mobo upgrade :(

Very nice find. Next cpu for me to replace my lga775 2.8 E0 is a lga755 3.6 E0. Will have to wait a bit though. I hope I find some 3.6 E0's about after christmas.

3.6 E0's are all over the place, at least in the states.

May I ask where you found a 2.8 E0 for sale?

Wow, if these can oc to 4.2 air, then it's very good to invest on. Imagine what you can do with phase change system.
