modded Laptop

I did a search, but couldn't find anything. Has anyone done this. Anything that they had to change the bios or open up the laptop.

Opening up a laptop is hugely done all over the world I think :)

Even I did it, and I even don't have a frikkin' flaptop :stick: :p:

Nothing wrong about it, but you have to realise that these things just aren't made for oc'ing. :D

Remember, the mobos in laptops are custom-made, and you won't easely find modded biosses :D

yeah modding laptops is nothing new. to oc one you most likely need one that is not a dell, compaq, etc. in other words you need to be able to change some of the settings like mults, and voltage. most people add some leds inside like the exhaust fan. red leds make it look like it's got a fire inside. i saw a website with some awesome laptop mods, don't remember what it was though. have you done a search on xtremesystems? maybe try pimprig or some case modding sites.
