last week i installed a fresh winXP and updated it to sp2. Today i wanted to install the drivers for my mouse. But Windows didn't find it. It's shown as a "Hid-Conform"-Mouse :(
So i surfed the internet for new drivers, but there isn't one.
Do you have/had a similar problem? what can i do?

i've been gaming with a boomslang for ages, and have also had the SP2 problem, since the boomslang is getting old now, terratec no-longer release updated drivers for it, i'd suggest you move to windows 2000, nice environment for games, and the boomslang is nice and responsive with 2000.

works for me anyway :d

i dont think microsoft really gives a :banana::banana::banana: about us...i mean...half of us pirate windows and we are .0001% of the market. with sp2, theyre just trying to help all the computer illiterates who install the software from the "warning your computer is infected with spyware" or "warning your computer is slow" ads. But spyware is awesome, as long as you know how to prevent it. I get paid 35bucks everytime i get rid of it on a customers computer. 35 bucks for like 20-30 min of work...cant get much better than that for someone in high school

SP2 has FAR LESS holes than SP1. Recent tests proved it beyond a doubt :)

But driver issues were real.
So many unsupported devices initially, including Microsoft 802.11g PCI card :)
Also took a while for my favorite anti-virus nod32 to come out with a fix for A64 configuration (would work on all other platform but A64 with Servicepack2 for almost a month... it would kill nVidia network some how).
Guess the issues are past now.
Think Razor has new mouse out as well as MX1000 is treating me real nicely if you want to move up a little now. Responsiveness of MX1000 is just amazing.
