Hmmm....I was wondering if anyone is also facing the same problem as I am facing with firefox v 1.0,

Version 1.0 is a bit slow in opening pages as compared to the previous versions.

btw I am now back to Opera

FireFox 1 is fast. Very fast. Must be either sucky connection, windows or some other random reason.

Just wanted to agree with masterofpuppets, firefox has been nothing but awesome on all of my linux installs and all of my friend's windows installs.

FireFox is the main browser I use. I used to use IE, then found Netscape, then found Firebird, then the name changed to FireFox and have been using since then.

yea i used IE until about a year ago when i read an article on www.theinquirer.net about the serious flaws in IE, i began looking for something better, stumbled across Firefox, and never looked back

Not slow here either, but I do have some issues with it...

1 Can't use it when setting up PHP scripts (causes errors)
2 Doesn't diplay pages 100% correctly
3 can't use for copy/paste as its not 100% accurate

So unfortunately until these problems are fixed I still have to use M$ IE .

It changes copied info when trying to work within a wysiwyg environment. As For php, Firefox browser seems to change submitted info in some php forms. took me over an hour to figure out why a script i was installing would not work correctly, was simply no reason..

Previous versions annoyed me with the amount of IE only pages (at the time IE only) I delt with it and now i am happy with my firefox :)

yeah FireFox is nice, its a more....streamed lined broswer so it works nice on my older computers (233mhz PII ) It seems to work fine with all the Flash/quicktime/etc stuff. hardly ever use IE...
