GF3 yes Radeon 9700? water block

Hi, I just made this today. Gpu water block for Gf3, can someone comfirm that holes positions are the same as for radeon 9700 , if they are then this is for this card too, plus I can mill out the the base for that ring around gpu. Did anyone measured distance between top of the gpu core and ring top ? Would 0.1mm clearance be OK.

And here on some Ati 9000 pro card fits perfectly so it will be ok for 9700 too

Perfect, the one thing that the Danger Den 9700 block lacks was that you needed to remove the shim to make good contact.

That is a great design like a mini heatsink with water running through it.
