im new here i signed up a few days ago but my account was just acctavated to day. anyways
my brother and i are modding my case and we decided to paint my case with automotive paint. we painted the chassie black and the top and sides a metalic red. we still have yet to do anything to the front. so anyways enough with the chit chat how about some pics. the case is not totaly done just so you know.

Front of case: http://paintedover.com/uploads/show.php?loc=12&f=case_front.jpg (this dosent have the front on it.)
Back of case: http://paintedover.com/uploads/show.php?loc=12&f=case_front.jpg
inside of case: http://paintedover.com/uploads/show.php?loc=12&f=case_front.jpg

also we are getting a laser eched window for the side wich will have this design eched on to it.

not bad, paint could be a little more creative, but its a good base, nice window etching, where are you getting that done or r u doing it yourself?

ok here is the case completed (excet a few small things)

Front: http://paintedover.com/uploads/show.php?lo...=front_case.jpg (http://paintedover.com/uploads/show.php?loc=12&f=front_case.jpg)
Back: http://paintedover.com/uploads/show.php?lo...f=back_case.jpg (http://paintedover.com/uploads/show.php?loc=12&f=back_case.jpg)
overview: http://paintedover.com/uploads/show.php?lo...&f=all_case.jpg (http://paintedover.com/uploads/show.php?loc=12&f=all_case.jpg)

all we got left to do is put a power button on it and its done. i love how there is no buttons on the front. makes it look realy clean

and im getting the window done at http://www.thepcmodshop.com/ for a very good price.

That looks very good.

Did you use canned paint or a brush.

Getting that sort of paint to give a good finish can be hard.
Did you use undercoat as well?

Welcome to XS.

we bought about $20 worth of spray paint but next time we are going to get the case powder coded its only about $15 and it would probobly last longer and look much better.
