I don't believe there has been mention of any limit put on the number of entries per person. Think it would be safe to assume you can post as many as you want.

What sizes do the logo images need to be because 1600x1200 gets pretty grainy when its gets blown up that large. I know you said dark blue and grey/silver, but what black shadows?

Images should be drawn in 1200x1600 format, and posted at 200 pixels wide.

Yes, use anything you like for the t-shirt logo's -- and although silver/blue are our official colors, feel free to be creative in different colors also.

Actually, it may be nice if the art were background independent, at least some of them because we may add some other color schemes and transparent would be nice in that case.

If the rest of you guys are making them the same way I am then swapping colors around isnt too much work.. whats hard really is not making 15 different versions of the exact same thing just by changing colors.

Now, to get hold of a couple liters of 90%+ pure alcohol...

I did mines in Tiff and then converted to jpeg, but the winner can put it in a gif without background (easily done in photoshop), so the mods can change their themes at will and it appears that the backg. of the logo is invisible

I have no problem I put a "space" between each link and it's all, when I want to change paragraph I type "ENTER" and it's done.

But ey don't worry anyway the competition ends today, so there's no problem ...

i can't believe this... heheh, just got into work - first thing i did, had to do actually, was check in here. wow ... now this is one good day - the best in a long long time actually...

oh well. thanks to kazoo for setting this up, chilly1 for the prize, fugger for hosting it and everything and anybody i forgot to mention. also thanks to all who participated, it was great fun!

aii... well i'm speechless.. took me like 30mins to write this, lol... omg



err. regarding the questions.. all modelling was done in 3dsmax release 6 on my old backup rig, palomino 1800 (@default), 1.5gig pc266 ram and a smokin radeon 8500 64mb bba :D. btw one of the circular logos took 35mins to render in 1600/1200 - when i went at them again last night rendertimes were down to ~8mins... hmmm, whatever.
about the models.. well i don't know, if i can hand them out, that's not up to me to decide anymore :). what i can do is post the version that didn't make it into the competiton. my current avatar is a step of it.. i might also post the pencil sketches to some of the logos later on (need to scan them).

oh well here's the logo that didn't make it - notice i missed the "s" in these ones. it should've been like x²treme, ...

also my 2nd logo - the one with those broken up letters - didn't come out the way i wanted it to, not at all. the reflections didn't work, the perspective didn't work either. that was supposed to be the best one.. dammit :). funny sidenote: the actual winning logo was the only one not planned beforehand, not sketched.. it just "came" lol. oh well i better shut up now :)
