What I have done:
-installed 5 LED fans (2 front, 1 top, 1 exhaust, and ripped out the psu exhaust fan and put one in there)
-spraypainted w/ "aluminum" color paint the 3.5" drive and dvd drive
-put aluminum face plate on the plextor 24x10x40
-installed vantec hard drive caddy w/ main 80GB C: drive in it
-installed 6 port baybus
-installed dual red/blue cold cathodes (might add a third if I feel necessary.. but it's pretty bright now eh?) pictures have them taped down, i will use velcro when ready w/ the permanent spot
What I plan on doing:
MODS:
-possibly cut out the USB front panel and relocate, and then put the Baybus where the USB ports were...
-replace all LED's w/ blue LEDs (power, hard drive, dvd, etc)
-possibly another cold cathode
-window mod w/ maximum oc styled cut out and a little extra secret touch ;)
-watercooling (including maze3 w/ lucite top, the lytron radiator I have shown in the WC forum, and some sort of custom res/pump--still thinking on how I want to set it up)
-use a silver-paint pen to paint the angled part on the dvd drive (spraypainting that w/o messing up the black velvet would've been impossible)
HARDWARE:
-waiting for new raid optimized seagate hard drives (will use w/ promise sx4000)
-ordering epox 8k9a2+ tomorrow
-install everything--os is already installed, i just need to plug everything in
