I installed the new version of Sygate Personal Firewall cause the Windows : New Version available where falling on my nerves !
Now I can't play any Game or whatever !
Cause every few secounds a little window pops up "WIn2k host is blocked"
I click "Don't show again but it doesn't help !
What to do ?
i don't have a current version of sygate - mine is rather old, but you should be able to do this: double click the sygate icon in the system tray to open the main window. in there select "applications". it should be one of the biggie icons up top - if this isn't available, go through tools -> applications (pulldown menu).
and in application you should be able to set the games to be allowed to communicate freely. if they're already listed in there, just tick their box, else add them, or open the game and then alt-tab out to windows and go through the main window - at the bottom should be a list of currently running apps. select the one that is your game and right click it to allow communication...
should be all there is to it.
