I need a backup card for temporary use in my HTPC and to just have after that. What do you guys think about this card? Good deal? Have better suggestions?

Pretty nice card for the price. You could play any game out today with acceptable framerates.

I don't think that it's quite a R9700, it has the R9800 PCB. It seems like a very good deal.
Thanks for pointing this out. I've been looking for a decent card and this fits the bill. I almost had a 9500Pro for $60 but I just can't get it to work on any of my rigs... don't know if it died in transit or what. :(
