I have been reading that the motherboard with nforce2 (for example to ASUS A7N8x) they use the "dual-channel technology" with that that two memory Banks that are special for it.

If this is true is it better at the moment to buy two modules by heart that one alone, with a view to the future?

I had thought to buy or Corsair 512XMS3200C2 or 512XMS3500C2 or OCZ 3500 in worse modules of 512 now have the doubt of buying me two modules of 256 of these memory

a greeting and to answer soon is urgent

p.d that is better "CORSAIR XMS3200C2" or OCZ 3500? <this answer also urges me

Well, obviously for dual channel you will need 2 sticks.
Right now (in a single channel board) you're probably going to get a slightly less overclock 2 using sticks in your system than with just one.

Still, I believe that getting 2 sticks is the right thing to do now

AcUaViVa:)

Welcome to Xtreme my friend:)

I'll be honest with you, in my evaluations of Corsair PC3200 cas2 and OCZ's equivalent...they both run identical all the way to 226Mhz on my KX7, at the same voltage. They use the same Winbond chips and are within 1% of each other in bandwidth numbers. I have not tested the OCZ PC3500, but most manufacturers just validated and updated their select PC3200 to run at 217Mhz cas 2. Both my OCZ and Corsair run at those specs flawlessly.:)

Randi:D

PS. I might add that I had to burn in both of these Winbond chipped sticks extensively before they delivered they're outstanding performance:)
