Those actually aren't too bad. MBM is just reading the AGP voltage instead of the real 3.3V line :D.

I bought a chiller of E Bay for a $100.00 and 80.00 shipping from Cal. Without having to invest a dime it preforms absolutly great.
Here is a screan shot after making a run in 01. The bottom temp is cpu temp. This is after 4 or 5 hrs of benchmarking. it was a cool morning about 40ish and low humidity.

Obviously its pretty big, but what else can you tell about this chiller? Any links or advice on what is suitable, and does it have a thermostat to control temperature? Any condensation issues? Having run a pelt, I don't like condensation, and would rather avoid having to deal with it. Thx.

Just go to E bay and do a search for chillers or look in laboritory equipment Neslabs is a good brand mine is a endocal and it has temp controllers (-30 to 100C) along with a heater and 3/8 lines. its size is 18"x16"x16" and has probably a 2 gal bath it runs on 110v I use a consentration heat remover and Dex-Cool with water mix and it has its own pump that I'm sure pumps way more than 120gph
condensation is deffenatly a problem here in MI with humidity reaching 95% in the summer. all my lines are wraped with pipe insolation my blocks are all protected with neopream and my board was preped as if i was gong to run pelts. and I will be soon. I use all plastic fasteners as they sweat less along with plastic water fittings and I use the thick tygon tubing all to fight condensation and then there is the Kleenex tissue shoved in cracks here in there to catch a stray drip

Hello Guys...
A month ago or so, I purchased a 300liter Box Freezer, and started ceeling my cpu waterblock and socket with neopren and Dielectric grease.
I have a Xp2400+ overclocked to 2598mhz.
IDLE temp was : 12º celcius
FULL LOAD temp was : 18º celcius.
All in all it only cost me aprrox 75$ US including the freezer + all the neoprene needed.
So a rather fair price concedering the overclock I got with it.
Now i just have to seal my Swiffy MCW50-T waterblock and maybe put in a more powerful Pelt.
So I can go beyond the 20k I´m hoping to.

BlastNA, Is there any idea why the athlon 3000+ is running higher temp with the watercooling setup than stock air? I'm asking because i'm using the msi corecenter and it's reading 33°C on idle and 42°C on load for me. I will do more testing tomorrow. I still have no idea why my temps are higher with my watercooling rather than my aircooled setup.

But a few seconds after the run was completed the temps didnt gradually go down to 28C again .. it DOVE to 29C...and after a few more seconds down to 28C.. how is this possible ?

just incase u wonder how awesome the wal mart special looks.... its not that special lol.... this is a pic of it when i was cooling a duron 1300 with it before i got my sempron , i took the fans off the radiator just for the pic.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v458/max_Sleeper/DVC00371.jpg
as for pelt temp i think thats a little high but not too bad considering it probably folds 24/7 i use 5 pcs in my bedroom for seti@home classic it makes the room rather warm as well
and heres a picture of it now using outside air pulled down my chimney with 2 120v fans in push pull fully shrouded (duct tape lol) also i have a 170 watt 15 volt peltier running 5 volts air cooled with a waterblock on the cold side cooling the oil after the radiator just a little bit more not very much though because the block isnt efficient at cooling like that on a pelt but lowers my full load temps a bit. which is all i want until i get my other waterblock done anyway. and get a insulated container for the oil and mobo.
full load 29c now
