I have a KX7 raid (1.1 with the nichicon caps) and I want to volt mod it. I only want to mod pin 7 on the vcore since I don't really want over 2v on the core and pin 3 on the memory. However I have no soldering experience and I want to be able to remove it. I have read MrIcee's review and the SMD grabber discussion but the thread hasn't been active. Are there any kits with all the equipment necessary or all the specific part numbers needed. Thanks

ok so I get 2 smd grabbers correct? 1 for pin 7 and 1 for pin 3. also are there any reviews/guides using smd grabbers, or is just doing everything except no soldering?

correct the grabber connects to pin 7 and pin 3 (vmem) instead of soldering.

some of the suggested items of the SMD grabber discussion don't match up with the ones in MrIcee's article. What parts would you recommend I use since you have the same mobo

I used a SMD grabber and a 47k trimmer from radio shack. (pin 7) I used a spade loop under a mounting screw for my ground. I'm not sure about the vmem mod (I haven't done it)

I am using the smd grabbers along with some other items suggested in the smd grabber article. Hower the 4.7K Ohm pot in Radio Shack is out of stock and I'm not sure how to find the 9v battery leads which that mdzcpa suggested. Any more help would be much appreciated
