View Full Version : Swiftech MCW6002 Convert to Radeon Cooler?

Well since I bought the swifty mcw6002 for my a64 and think i'm going to get a mach 2 cooling unit for my cpu, I was wonering if it's possible to convery the block to be used on my GPU?

any idea's?

Eh, no... You'd literally have to solder some mounting brackets to the waterblock, and that's pretty dodgy. You're better off selling the MCW6002 and buying a VGA block.

well i have a maze 4 block :P

just wondering if this was possible to get the center inlet lined up with the GPU core to get better cooling :P

If you solder some mounting brackets on it or find some other way to attach it to the GPU. You may also need to remove the shim from your GPU to make proper contact.

think it would make a big difference compared to my maze4 gpu?

i think ill just sell this block and get a mcw50-T tec gpu cooler :P

I'm kinda sad tho....... waited a month on backorder for the damn block and now i figure to go with the mach 2 lol
