ok, im not a great overclocker. i think i hit 183fsb and lost my winblows install. but im going to get the following:
abit kx7-333
amd axp1600+ (great stepping)
basic heatcore water cooled. (ill have a low room temp 60-72f)
enermax 430w psu

Now i want some memory that will last me a long time, and trough a few cpus ie 2600+..

im thinking of:
Giel pc3500 cl2 (3dgameman claimed it owns, nice heat spreader, and its a tad cheaper then corsair)
corsair pc3500 cl2 (more $, but it seems to have 100% results)
corsair pc3200 cl2 (cheapest, not to sure what it can do)

these would be the 512mb verisons, and looking to buy from newegg.

this might be a long as post, and ill probly get no replys, but im board and i found a guy that wants samsung memory (pc2700 512mb) that i have, so if he wants then i wanna upgrade to the best.

Thanks all.

From what I have read on these forums I believe the Corsair 3200 will fit your needs fine. Some people believe the Corsair 3500 is almost the same as the 3200. I think the GeiL might be an overkill

I forgot to add I just ordered some Corsair 3200 c2 to go along with my Aroia Y Week 13. KX7, and watercooling too. I think my hard drive & 9700 will quit before the ram does.

well id liek to use those new tt copper heat spreaders on the new ram i get.

But i dunno w/ corsair if you could take there spreaders off use your own, then if the mem dies replaces there spreaders and rma?

plus the 3200 is only like 20 dollars less then the Corsair 3500.
C 3200 512mb cl2= $208
C 3500 512mb cl2= $215/230 blk/silver (i guess they rip u for the color spreader)
G 3500 cl2= $217 (there Sinks are nice, forget the copper ones heh)

well, i wanted to get the corsair 3200 cl2, but for 9bucks more i can get the geil.. Crazy Priceing..

If you take the heatspreaders off your warranty is instantly voided, and they cantell that they've been removed, unless you get every trace of frag tape of the chips and spreaders and use new frag tape when you put em back on... odds are tho that you'll bend them getting em off.
