I was exploring around various epox bioses last night and came across this small feature that may be of some interest to Epox Users.

I unhide the options of using the 1.75 and 1.8 volt options in Bios.

other then that, theres nothing much to mess with.
no Extra Vdimm or anything.
but alittle extra Vcore is always nice :)

the 1.75 and 1.8 vcores might be phantom features, so don't be suprised if they do nothing.
since I don't use a epox NF3 myself, I can't test this.
but other then unhiding the 1.8 volts.
all other features are untouched.

this is for both the 8KDA3+ and 8KDA3J.

like always, modding something is your risk.
if your not prepared for the risk, don't do it.

I thought about it alittle, but we already got yours there.
I am just doing alittle side work.
personally, I like modded the weird bioses to make boards that shouldn't overclock, like ECS and PC-Chips, overclockable.
its suprising how much there is in those odd brands.

plus, I still have some very basic problems, like I can't seem to find a way to open DFI bioses. Modbin just crashes every time, and running mod bin off a ram disk on reboot, gives me the error of bios wrong size.
Epox bioses tend to be a pain in the ass so far too... theres nothing to mess with usually it seems.
you could fall asleep trying to mod a Aopen bios, cause they are so cut and dry, nothing even remotly interesting in there to mess with.

I was about to scream last night, cause I can open Asus Bioses with BiosmodV1 and running it on a ram disk, but it won't do anything after it loads...

while I am learning, I can tell its a pain in the ass too.
theres just not often a fun feature to enable :(

mostly I like this just to be able to streamline a bios to how I need it for overclocking.
having things turned off by default is a huge time saver too me :)
especially when using dry ice, and it can take multiple reboots to get the bios back to a good benchmarking state.

Kunaak,

Could you look into a 9nda3+ bios and see if there is anything to unhide there? (like drive strength?)

thanks,
