Maybe you can do a step-by-step ln2 setup since there isnt one here.
It would be a first !! :D :D

This one is going out to someone on monday....for a DI setup... If it is used for LN2 you won't need a stirrer...

hi Chilly1
Nice container - how thick is the base ?. And what is the full weight of the container?
chilly1

The base is a chilly1 block welded with the spiral portion exposed inside the container the plate holding it in place is 1/16 brass and will conduct less than the copper so little cooling is lost through the base support. Full weight about 3 lbs.

yeah chilly your new avatar looks like the logo for one of your softdrinks ;)
i like the container.. but i dont think it will work very good with DI because the pellets ( or whatever you are using ) cannot get to the bottom?? og am i getting the size wrong?
anyways the stirrer should help a lot :)

Well my theroy is that heat rises and as teh processor is warmer than the fluid (acohoal or acetone) in the bottom of the container and the spirals of the block are submerged in the liquid I figured this would set up a convection. With the Ln2 I don't think the stirrer is nessassary. The soft drink fountain stirrir is one of a kind.
