Hi Guys can anybody with a system like mine or someone that just knows how can i get to 30k? i got a 3400+ C0, DFI LP UT Nf3 250, Mem Kingston 512 Value Ram DDR 333 and a Gecube X800XT-PE i got 28.4k atm :(

i have a system just like yours, but i think you're going to want some better RAM. 30k isn't that hard, actually, but it DDR333 might make it tougher.

one thing you can definately do now to improve your score is run in win2k and use dx 8.1

What else can i do without win2000 and dx 8.1 i didnt really want to install win2000 just because of the score ..what are the best drivers and etc etc.. :confused:

best drivers for an x800 for 2k1? hmmmm no idear... def try the latest 4.x series though, 3.x are not fast on x800x i think.

try 4.9's, apparently the 8.07's bring down the score.

for my 31k score with x800pro 12 pipe card i used cat 4.5 and dx8.1 on winxp with 3.2EE

Something just doesn't look right there, I have almost the same speeds but with a X800Pro without XT modds and card clocks at 600/600 and system ram running at 227 w/2,2,2,5 timings.
Look at the 30k score in my sig.

Big difference between DDR333 and DDR 454.....needs better Ram ;)

Ya I hear that, but maybe some voltage to the ram might help some.

your winxp and ram are costing you over 1k marks, perhaps even 2k. eshbach hit 32k at only 2.56GHz, you should easily have 31k with those cpu clocks. win2k is faster in games as well

I got a HD of about 1gb to install win2000 pro sp2 and install dx8.1, also going to put the modded bios for the DFI because im using the original ill try that maybe get to 29 or more with that drivers ill probobly use the 4.9 dont know for shure :) thx alot imm keep in touch here..

Crap Crap Crap!!!!! i had a HD of 10gb that had bad sectors around the 5gb in the HD so i made 2 partitions formated the 1 one and installed win 2000 when i shutdown the pc to pass some stuff from one HD to another didnt boot the HD anymore just died OMG!!! Lol it just didnt boot so now im back to 0 :(

Finally got my self a 3gb HD installed Win 2000 Pro Sp2 and Dx8.1 etc, what can i do here now? what tweaks what drivers should i use for the XT i installed the Nvidia 4.27 drivers for the Nforce donno if thats the best ones oh well.. need some tips here everybody, Geforce4ti4200 :)

I just got over 30k today. 3200+ c0 @2520mhz x800pro flashed ofcourse @ 570/613 and a stick of bh-5 252mhz 2-2-2-5@ 3.4v all on a dfi nf3.

Something is wrong. I beat your car high and both lobby scores by some, with a 9700 Pro and 3ghz on CPU. Almost same speed and timings on my ch-5:

Get rid of that 2*256Mb Kingston Value Ram for some serious 2*512MB like EB and it's half of the way to success... :)

stick with 2x256 as its all u need for 01 and generally oc's alot better. but switch to OCZ 3700EB or KHX3500 or something, heck anything cept for that value ram. I justify my crap RAM with an Athlon XP, but whats ur excuse :p:

Its not 2x256 value ram its just 1 stick 512 value ram :( i know that with better ram i can get 30k easy :P i sold my 2x256 patriots but i can get my friend to lone me them :D i wanna know some extreme tweaks etc :)

Finally!! 30k Uffff got it with CPU@2530 XT-PE@594/609. And i still didnt install SP4 :)
