ok , got to thinking, i know ice in a res dont last long, but what if u put the radiator and pump in a cooler full of ice water (mixed with antifreeze or similar)?? make a mesh divider between the rad and pump so ice cubes dont shoot up or block the flow. then fill the side of the cooler that has the rad in if 3/4 way up full of ice. and maybe mount a fan on top of the cooler to blow all the hot air out, and having the cooler sealed shut. wonder how long this would last and what kind of temps we would see??

*EDIT* just scored a thermoelectric cooler, do u all think this will come in handy?? i was thinking of setting the cooler i have now with pump and rad with ice and water in the thermo cooler. do u all think it will keep it cool enough to last awhile? http://www.igloocoolers.com/products/active/kool_mate_40.html
