I've asked this question in another forum and the people there don't recommend it.

Thanks for the replies. :)

Hi jayel i've installed it, but it don't give me more performance. I've tested it with 3d mark 2001 se and pc mark 2002.

I've installed it before but like klosterbruder said it doesn't seem to make a difference. My system became more unstable with it installed.

I d/l'ed it once on a dell and it made all the characters in Quake3 sound like mickey mouse voices:) Other than that, I could tell a small difference with certain data proggies.

I install and use it in every machine I build.

I see some improvements that include booting/shutting down, viewing large directories, and the speed that applications opens/reopens.

I only use Intel chipsets, no clue how this runs on systems without Intel chipsets.

I like to call it the Intel Deaccelerator... all it does is enable DMA on ur HDs and made me lose PCMark and 3DMark

It's more effective with systems running at 1Ghz or less, anything higher and it actually decreases performance...
