hello guys I need some help xD
I have a problem overclocking my p4 3.2C, the thing is that im fine at 3.6 ghz with Vcore 1.675, but i noticed that when i get past that voltage and I open CPUZ the Vcore is being unstable (varies between 1.520 to 1.750 when in the bios is set to 1.7). My ram is set to 2.9 V with OCZ booster.
here are my specs :
p4 3.2C, ASUS p4c800 e dlx,2X256 PC 3700 EB, PSU:ANTEC truepower 430,DDR booster, intel stock cooling (temps never goes more than 52 C at 3.67 ghz so thats not really the problem- watercooling waited to be installd)

I think that the PSU is not providing enough power but i prefer to ask the experts first :)

The vcore problem you are referring to is a problem that exists in any P4C800/P4P800 motherboard. The vcore fluctuation could be a PSU problem, but I would bet money on da droop. It can be corrected by performing a vdroop mod. Use the search function or look through the motherboard vmods section. :)

The vdroop issue is not caused by the PSU, its a problem with the motherboard. If you can, do the vdroop mod before you spend money on a new PSU. Even if you get a new PSU, you will still have vcore droop due to the motherboard without the mod.

I second that. If you do decide to purchase a new PSU I would recommend OCZ.
