was looking around today and saw:

2.4A Prescott (533fsb) + ECS 848P motherboard = $109USD

and 3.0E (800fsb) + ECS 848P motherboard = $169USD

the 3.0E is like $20 less than the bare CPU price and they "throw in" the nasty motherboard, hmmmmmmmmmm.

I ordered 2 boards and chips last week from them 2500+ sempterons and the ECS boards, $69 cheap budget rigs.

There's also a 2800+ and ECS board @ outpost/frys for $99

It looks like a different board than i got with my Sempterons!! "what a stupid name"!!! Anyway this board looks interesting, I didnt know ECS made a Nforce2 motherboard, It's about a $50. Doing the math, these would make some cheap Folding rigs @ only $99

Upon checking they do.

It's not boards were used to Charlie but

here's a review from OCworkbench.com

Fsb from 100 to 232 :) "and in the review it's @ 200fsb"
no multipler settings :( "a little Pin painting for Multi no problem"
No voltage options :( "again pin painting for some cpu volts"
memory timings :) \

This thread should be moved to the Online Deals forums. Also I check outpost every week on the weekly specials, They have killer deals. I bought a AIRLINK 54g wireless router last week to replace a Microsoft one that was nothing but hastles!!! Always losing signal. I bought the airlink for $24.99 and bought a USB 54G Thumbdrive size Adaptor. I plugged it in and it worked perfect, I mean i just installed the drivers and plugged it in and it worked. I even pull a signal from a Neighbor that i never pulled with my Linksys or Microsoft.!!! He has no security on 5 gigs of MP3's and probably 50 gigs of questionable material!!!

They also had 256 sticks of kingston 3200 DDR for $29.99 so i stocked up. Every week they have mega Board and chip deals. Mostly all ECS budget, but usually the chip and board is the same price as the chip everywhere else. And their shipping is crazy low. I order 9 things last week including a Printer and shipping for all of it was $14 something.

Ted, maybe because it's your biz, but it seems like you've always got a handle on where all the best deals are at any given time :D What's the world's best $25 PSU today? The fortron hi-q 350w?

Your right on with the best budget PS!!! fortron for $21.95 350 GTU.

http://www.dealsonic.com/fohiqat35atp.html

That's what i would of told you.

I've been buying Antec Cases from Ebuyer lately, Their ANTEC cases and PS deals are $20 cheaper than anywhere.

I bought 5 Antec SLK 3700 Cases for $52 each there. and shipping on all 5 was cheaper than newegg.

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-129-122&depa=0

I've also been using the Antec SLK2650 which is a new version,
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-129-148&depa=1

It's like antecs $100 sonata, and you can hardly tell them apart, same 120 mm fan in the back, but Rubber grommet HD cage oinly holds 2 Drives instead of 4 or 5. but a better feature is the Side cover now has a Hole in side for a fan like most. Cept it has a Adjustable "shroud like" cone, that you can adjust in and out to get almost on top of the CPU. it fit perfect on the first computer i used with this case on the CPU. I can put my hand over the side vent and CPU temps will go up 5 celsius in under 30 seconds

the 2650's are also a low $50's @ ebuyer,

They go up and down week to week there, But their smaller antec's are still in the $50's.

Most people buy a generic case and change the PS, but never skimp on a good supply. fortrons my favorite of course. but if anyone has bought a Antec Power supply, you'll find you pay $50 or more for them, so you might as well get a "free" case if you buying a Antec power supply!!!

Charlie Your right, I live on all the deals sites, Fatwallet, anandtech hot deals forums "the original", Techbargains". XPbargains.com. Everyday. I have to if i want to eat everyday!!!

Until i found the Ebuyer killer antec Cases. I was buying Nice sturdy "raidmax" generic cases for budget computers without a power supply and using the Fortron 350 GTU power supplies. $22 +$21 for both, figure in shipping and i was over the Antec case price @ ebuyer.

And no joke, friends call me everyday on "where to get the cheapest ______" Im a walking deals site!!!

Im going to start hammering xtreme's "deals" forum. instead of posting from time to time in there. So get your credit card ready!!!

I noticed that card, If it was only flashable!!!

I'll agree with their cheap Shipping. I ordered 5 of the ECS and 2800+ $99 deals just now. Ground shipping for 5 motherboards and CPU's to me is $11.84!!! and they ship fast!! I'll get this stuff Tuesday no joke, even though i ordered on Sunday today.I always order on the weekend and i think they work sundays and box it up. And i get the stuff from some warehouse with a zip code that's only about 300 miles away.

I was out in California early this year and went into a Fry's, man that store is heaven. "to me at least" Ridiculous deals and low prices in the store, And MB's and cpus right there cheap!!! All we have in delaware where i live is Compusa, and their prices on boards and cpu's are crazy high!!!

Time for me to get some sleep, i've been up all night.
