Man I got greedy...recently I flashed my NF7-S to the D25 2D by Merlin and was finally able to get over 230 fsb. So I figured I would try the Mantaray D26 XT bios. Had HUGE problems with it...wasnt even stable at 200 fsb. So I flashed back...now Ive been slowly working my way back up but have been having problems raising the vcore. Every time I raise it past 1.9v it shuts itself down in windows(a two toned siren). But before this flash I was doing 1.95v completely stable. Ive been at this for about an hour but thats the only thing I seem to be able to coorelate to the resets. Will be doing more tests...but any input would be VERY much appreciated.

Oh yeah...temps are at about 41C idle and 45C under load.

try the bios forum, there are alot of people there who really know their bios.

try to completly erase the existing bios, BUT DO NOT REBOOT, after you erase the existing bios, just flash the bios like normal to the bios that works best for you.
sometimes I wonder if a bios is really new, or if its just updating a existing bios, cause a completly new flash sometimes solves just about any problem I had with whatever board I am trying.

How do you completely erase the existing bios? I dont see any option for it in flashmenu...

I saw this in another post...is it correct?

"All you have to do is flash with these parameters from the command prompt:

awdflash.exe NF7D_XX.BIN /py /sn /Wb /cd /cp /cc /LD /F

That should completely erase the old BIOS and rewrite it with the new one."
