Hi there guys,

I have a 3.0c @ 4500MHz in a P4C800...

As you all know, it's a pain to have P4's over 300MHz FSB..

I am thinking about changing mobo, but i don't know to which one. I've also heard about the new chipsets for scotties...but i don't know...

Can you please give me a hand here?...

Thankx :toast:

Gettting the high FSB on a IC7 is just a matter of a Vagp mod...

IC7 is a great motherboard. If you have all the mods and adequate cooling, and if your chip and ram is up to it, you will hit 5GhZ with that board.

Ehehehehe...strange...a couple of months ago, if this question was made, 99% of the answers would be: "ASUS P4C800"...now, seems that board isn't that good any more...eheheh

Any one with ASUS around here that could give me some hints?..Otherwise I think I'll have to go for an Abit...

I lost a 100mhz overclock with the Asus compared to the Abit. So go figure.

IC7-G has always been my choice, great board, has handled high clocks and 300+ fsb out of the box no problems.. Asus is a great board, I've just had much better results with the Abit.
