Make my disc bootable

Ok ...

I have a windows xp professional disc and it has gotten very old and hard to read. So i made a copy of it, but the copy is not bootable. I tried making a bootable disc in nero, but it needs the disc image which is not contained on the cd. Can anyone help me make the disc bootable?

Bart's Boot Guide (http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/) works quite well for the times I've needed to build, or rebuild a windows install CD, and its pretty easy to understand.

thanks man...my friend is already mailing me a copy of his ( i dont think this is illegal cause technically its a copy of my disc) but if it is illegal sorry for posting. i think making the disc will be quicker than waiting for the mail though
