Microsoft* Windows* XP Professional
McAfee* Internet Security 5.0
all for $175... what do you think?
Wondered what the Intel retail deal was.....not too bad...although if memory serves, Intel boards do NO overclocking at all.
175 bucks for XP + a processor? Not too shabby.

Hm, thinking about it... I could possibly take out my non-working Epox 8kha+ and T-bird 1.4Ghz and stick that in there... For an additional computer... Anyone know if that's a DDR board?

I'm almost positive I'm gonna pick it up. I'm not positive whether I'm keeping it or selling it. I already have a copy of WinXP Pro, so I can sell that. McAfee I don't need, so I'll sell that. My 2 choices right now are:
1) Sell the cpu and motherboard. Could post them for sale on here first, or e-bay.
2) Replace my Epox 8kha+ and 1.4Ghz T-bird with the 2.53. I've got to find a place to put that comp and a use for it. Possibly a server of some sort...
You interested in the cpu, cpu/motherboard, or all of it Hardass? If I decided to sell, I'll contact you first.

I can get 2 of them... (My g/f works in media at best buy...)
It says if you sell them you will be ineligible for all future promotions... but how would they know? I don't want to get in trouble...

I think the only way they would know would be if some idiot that bought them was to contact Intel for a replacement after blowing part of it up. I'd guess they register whatever S/N #'s for this promotion in case of people that do sell the items.

175 is cheap just for the CPU alone compared to Aus prices.
