i have a ic7 max3 here and i need a cpu with it. witch psu do you guys recommend? this would be for oc too and best bang for $$$? thanx

Get the Fortron 530W, great PSU. Have it myself.
Only 75$ at newegg.

nice price for 530 hows the warrenty though? it doesnt say .. hows the rails when overclocked?

For CPU get a EE if ya can afford it :D ...or look for a E0 chip if they are out yet. I'm a NW fan, so i'd recommend a 30 cap 3.0c :) but the prescotts arn't too bad now.
the fortron is great. Has adjustable rails ...so if they to low, crank em up. A better/best PSU would be the OCZ 520w (pricey tho).

EE .. out of my league hehe. im looking on ebay to get my cpu.. they dont say wether its e0 or c etc..at least with the amd barton i know what im looking at but i am lost with pentiums. how about a 2.4? i see a few on ebay thats why and the price seems to fit my budget. as for the psu ..i really have an antec 550 already but its being rma since i believe its the culprit for my dead cpu. anyhow im probably going to go with something less powerfull since i wont need as much since h20 settup is coming to mind. :) probaby go with the fortron since the price looks great. thanks for the quick response.

Prices on P4 have dropped. Get a 3.0 or 3.2, you better off with one of these, than an old 2.4C.

whats so bad about a 2.4 he can overclock that thing pretty good. nice high FSB will improve preformace.

yes, but with a 3.0c he has a better chance of being able to run his memory 1:1
Mine 3.0C 12 cap does 3.9 3d stable on water, good chips. Stepping is SL6WU.

I've been playing Doom 3 (hadn't played it yet) all weekend at 3.9 1.65v (Under load - droop mod raises it real close to 1.7v idle.)
