is there any way to get the option to set you multiplier with the NS7-S2? im using it for my aunt with one of my old mobile's, i didnt think it would give me that kind of crap, it making me run a 1.2ghz with 200fsb :( (6x multi is default i guess ,and theres no way in bios to change it.

heres the latest bios BTW.

Not trying to add insult to injury but you should've done some research before buying a budget board and to make it worse you trying to use a mobile XP with it? :stick:

There are rumors about Abit releasing a bios to add multiplier option but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

Good luck!

theres no way to mod the bios or something to add multi support? :(

i can still send it back to newegg,

looks appealing, but im afriad t otell her about the 15% restocking fee, much less another $15 for an Nf-7..not to mention the extra weeks its going to take for her computer :(

you really think the KT600 is worth it the DFI NFII board for $70 looked damn good imo.

there is no bios for the moment wich allow that.

Every bios out there with multiplier support changes the fid.

mobiles use the msr registers in the cpu to change the multiplier.
