Hi.

I got my ocz booster some time ago, I use it on NF7-S v2.0 (a very late one).

I tried it with my corsair 3500c2 v1.1 (BH5?) and I cant get 2-2-2 @ 230 :(

I think its the VTT that is holding me back.
I looked around and found some mods but when I check the VTT as shown in some places I see that it tracks just fine (or maybe its not the VTT ?)

I tried my adata 4000 too with no luck.
Both sticks gain nothing from the booster, the vdimm is jumping when I get above 2.9 - jumping as in - I set 3.3 and on load it will drop down to 3.09...

can u help ?
10x !

Mine does the same thing on a different board. I'm not real happy with it when compared to just straight up v-mods.

Are you guys measuring on the board to see if the voltage is jumping all over the place or are you just looking in bios?

hi bigtoe

both bios and DMM give the same jumps... anyway the mem is not stable @ any higher speed then before the booster.

Using dmm, can't really see the LED in my rig. Catch enough to know digits are changing there too, I can only guess it matches my dmm reading. No VDimm in my bios, this was on a P4C800, the traditional vmod was rock solid so I don't think it was reverse current through the fet or anything. Also kept the 3.3V rail up .2V or so from the set level to help avoid blowing the VDimm fet. None of my psu rails budged during this, again, checked with dmm.

Should the booster not do this? I'd seen others explain this away as power management, but that doesn't make sense for VDimm and this device. I'd love to have one that didn't do that if mine is defective and not doing this by design.

I've had no luck with the booster...

Can't even run the memory the same as bios settings, no matter what the voltage with the booster, I get memtest errors at much over 215 FSB... with the bios, vdimm 3.2V, I can memtest errorfree at 242FSB

I've tried 2 boosters, 3 PSU's in two AI7 motherboards

Alot of boards tell you to go to hell with more than 2 dimm slots filled.

? I have 2x512mb in slot 1&3, the booster in slot 4... any other config with the AI7 wouldn't make any sence, you'd loose dual channel
