I've just bought 2 sticks of corsair 3200xms 256 ram to use with my KX7-333raid v1.1, xp2000+ and TTGI520. Up to now i've had 2 sticks of generic pc2700 ram and had settings at 183x10.5 with 2.13vcore and 2.99 vdimm and stock bios with slk800 @ 45-47C under load running stable in winXPpro.
My problem now is I can't get my system to run stable with the corsair even at stock speeds and voltage. XP boots up and I get BSOD whenever I launch any program; even HWDoctor. It sometimes crashes auto loading MBM5. Am I missing something to get the xms3200 running? I've tried single and double sticks in different slots all with the same result, even removed all pci devices.

BTW, a side question, how do you get vdimm to show on MBM? I've seen oppainter's mbm displaying vdimm.

Thanks much

For mbm you go to voltages and set configuration for Epox. The the -12.00v will be your v-mem.

I would have your settings at 183 for Fast decode, Cas2, 4-way, 2-5-2, 1T, These are aggressive but your Cosair should like them. Set your mem voltage to 3.0 if you can. If it doesn't work try and change from 1T to 2T.

buggered am I if I can find the thread tho... lol... I know it was about the same time I did the vmods on mine n mav's...

I also had to set the clock delay to 800ps... it took some doing initially but once it was up there it stayed there...

Thanks for you suggestions.
I'm restoring a PowerQuest image of my hard drive right now and will try your suggestions asap and keep you posted. Do you think I need to flash my bios?

:D Thanks oppainter and marci

Tried settings as suggested and winXP now boots up fine. Prime 95 won't run but my video encoding (main function of this computer) is stable. For those into this kind of thing, CCE speeds of 1.93RT which is truly awesome.

I'll flash my bios and try to push it further.

Thanks again (another happy customer)
