View Full Version : How to get access to CNC machining equipment?

I dont have any,
and all of my friends don't either.
Other than having a chop custom-machine if for you, which i imagine would be very expensive,
can you guys think of any other way to get it relatively cheap?
by that i mean cheaper than the amount of time i'll waste if i do it all on my drill press :)
this is for building an evaporator, hence in the "phase change" section :)

Look for an Automotive Vocational Rehab type school or a similar type class at a local Community College, they often have such machinery or something similar. They may require you take a night class or something to get access, but it could be fun and a nice skill to have.:D

hmm...that would be a valid option,
consiering i take classes at the local community college right now,
but unfortunately, i don't have the money to take another class :(
do you think there might be a another way to get to college equipment? :D
like ask someone who is in the class already to do it for me?
or even ask the instructor, maybe?
