I cant seem to mod any X800 XT PE bios versions, I want to change the clock speed so I can run 580/600 24/7 also, is there a way to make the fan run 100% all of the time?

Ive tried a few programs but when I go to open the bios it says "not a valid ATI bios image file" or similar messages

So anyone who has done it...advice? :)

Also I noticed you can change vgpu in one of the NVidia bios editors, is there an ATI equivalent?

Moved to the Proper area....

Kunaak.

editing the X800 Clock speeds still seems to not be an option.
theres a great bios program out there called Rabit, and it does load the bios and show all the revelvant information, but does not seem to allow changing the clock speeds yet.

Do you tryed ATITool yet? It's a nice overclocking utility and with latest version you can adjust Fan speed.

That is indeed a nice tool, but the point is we would like to modify the BIOS to immediatly run our overclocked speeds...
And not with a tool that does the overclocking :-(
